Aural Studio is an iPhone audio-synthesis workspace for creating, editing, playing, saving, closing, and reopening layered audio documents. Start from a thoughtfully assembled preset, then make every supported layer your own.

Inside the studio
Sound stays editable before, during, and after playback.
- Build in layers. Add, duplicate, reorder, enable, disable, and remove generators as the document takes shape.
- Tune the details. Adjust supported frequency, volume, pan, binaural beat frequency, and lifecycle timing.
- Draw motion over time. Refine supported parameters with spline automation.
- Listen without losing your place. Play, pause, seek, and continue refining the same document.
- Keep your work. Save, close, and reopen audio documents stored on your iPhone.
- Move documents intentionally. Import and export when you choose, without an in-app public sharing service.

The shipping presets are starting points, not locked listening modes.
- Alpha Calm. A stereo binaural pair with a 10 Hz beat, combined with pink noise.
- Theta Drift. A stereo binaural pair with a 6 Hz beat, combined with brown noise.
- Delta Rest. A stereo binaural pair with a 3 Hz beat and a supporting oscillator.
- Popcorn Simple. Square, triangle, and sine oscillators arranged in a staggered pulse.
A workspace, not a playlist
Each preset opens as a real editable document. Change the layer order, shape timing, rebalance the stereo field, automate supported values, or rebuild the sound from the generators up.
The initial release is free, with no paywall and no subscriptions.
Listen in stereo
Binaural playback depends on a distinct signal reaching each ear. Stereo headphones are recommended when listening to the binaural presets. Keep the volume at a comfortable level and pause if listening feels uncomfortable.

Aural Studio offers wellness-oriented creative presets, but it is not a medical app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and it does not promise a particular wellness outcome.
